** Videos were made in the Summer of 2020 and highlight some of the ways the program ran at Tamiscal HS. At Archie Williams, we will still offer Workplace learning, but it will be during 7th period and not all day Tuesdays**
Workplace Learning (SENIOR YEAR)
In the fall, students choose a community service placement of their choice for 3-4 hours a week! Students will get to leave campus for 7th period to go to their placements!
In the spring, students will choose an internship placement related to their career goals for 3-4 hours a week as well.
During these placements, students will be required to do weekly journals, create a resume, and create a portfolio and presentation based on their service and career learning.
This course will be optional for juniors in the program and required for seniors in the program
